The pure oil of the berries of sea buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides L.) has a bright orange-red color and the characteristic fruity sea buckthorn flavor. It contains about 30% palmitoleic acid as unsaturated fatty acid, which occurs naturally in the skin and mucous membranes. Due to the good adhesive properties of the oil, it lays down on the mucous membranes in the throat, in the esophagus and gastrointestinal tract. The biologically active substances of sea buckthorn oil act synergistically to support the body functions.
Alternatively we offer sea buckthorn oil in capsule form (Art. Nr. 81090).
